How I Stay Motivated as a Multi-Passionate Entrepreneur

I’m really excited for this post! Then I realized I should probably define what a multi-passionate entrepreneur is before I dive in. And then I realized that I don’t have a great way of articulating what it is so I asked ChatGPT to help me out, and it crafted a PERFECT definition! So here it is (based on its knowledge of my, my passions, and my goals):

Being a multi-passionate entrepreneur means embracing and pursuing multiple interests, passions, and talents while running a business—or even multiple businesses. It’s about recognizing that you don’t have to fit into a single box and leveraging your diverse skills and passions to create a fulfilling and dynamic career.

It’s about celebrating your multi-faceted nature, staying organized, and finding harmony between your many pursuits. The key is ensuring that your passions enhance, rather than overwhelm, your entrepreneurial journey.

I don’t like using ChatGPT to write my blog posts for me (its also not a great way for SEO to bump you up), but I had to share that! 

NOW I present you with my list of how I stay motivated as the aforementioned (ooo big word alert!) multi-passionate entrepreneur 🙂

1. Set Clear Goals
   Breaking down big dreams into actionable steps keeps me focused and moving forward.
2. Celebrate Small Wins
   Recognizing progress, no matter how small, fuels my motivation to keep going.
3. Mix Work with Passion Projects
   Balancing my business with things I love—like hiking, cross-stitching, or reading—keeps me inspired.
4. Connect with Like-Minded Women
   Surrounding myself with other driven entrepreneurs in my women’s networking group keeps the energy high.
5. Embrace Flexibility
   Being multi-passionate means I allow space for creativity and follow where my inspiration leads.

I’ve been doing some of these by joining a local women’s networking group! We meet once a month, and I’ve met some wonderful women there. I’ve mentioned this in a previous post, but I schedule in time for hiking, getting outside with Woods, and relaxing. If I don’t put it there on my calendar and in my face then I’ll just fill that time with working.
